A Guide Bushing of the company SPIETH-MASCHINENELEMENTE GmbH & Co KG is a round linear guiding-component for all fields of precise mechanical engineering. As the SPIETH guide bushing is build under the principle of a diaphragm, it has the feature that the play can be adjusted individually. The use of the guide bushing is indicated if the advantages of a guide slide bearing, for example the high damping effect shall be used and at the same time minimum guide play is requested. For this reasons, guide bushings are used successfully for die sets, round guides, tailstock sleeves or plungers.
Additional to the linear movement, rotary motion at the same time is possible. Due to lubrication technology reasons a pure rotational movement (as for slide bearings) cannot be accepted. High accelerations are unproblematic as long as an adequate lubrication supply is realized.

The Guide Bushing is available for pure slide function as well as in combination of slide function and clamping function.
